Picking up where I left off in 2019, here are the remaining transcriptions of Dr. Edward Maddox‘s (d. 1694) court records from Stafford County, Virginia, in the final years of his life. Unless his will is somehow found, these are among the latest records of his actions in 17th century Maryland and Virginia.

  • Mr. Edward Maddocks present in court as a justice, 8 February 1692/3 (p. 295).
  • Dr. Edward Maddocks received 400 pounds of tobacco from the Hathaway estate, 8 February 1692/3 (p. 295).
